Dear Wine Lovers,
Christmas is coming, I know... and so I'm here with one of the best and most appropriate Italian sparkling wines for the season: Prosecco di Valdobbiadene By Aneri.
Why a sparkling wine, chilled like the snow falling outside?
Cause it will skim off all the fat you will accumulate eating "Christmas holiday dishes", dude!
... and it could help your digestion!
Some news:
Last year the word "Prosecco" has been included in the American dictionary and as if that were not enough Barack Obama has celebrated his election with twelve bottles of this Prosecco, isn't that great, dude?
Twelve bottles? Alone? :)
I discovered this Prosecco only a year ago (thanks uncle Stefano for the suggestion); I've always been a little bit sceptical about the "Italian's Prosecco" cause, typically, it contains a heavy touch of sugar that makes it less than ideal for combining with food.
Anyway, this Prosecco By Aneri has been a pleasant surprise for me. The taste of sugar is really delicate and will not tamper with your food. This Prosecco is completely agreeable, fresh and has a nice floral character.
As well as being a great aperitif wine, this Prosecco is an amazing "celebratory" drink and an excellent choice for many kind of foods (white meat or fish or spicy food).
Above all that, this story has a sensational culmination... you can find this wine at the unbelievable price of 8 Euros (suggested retail price).
One of the best quality/price ratio wines I've ever tasted.
So, don't play around making snowmen, buy some bottles of this Prosecco and enjoy your Christmas Vacation!
I wish you all my best for your holidays and see you here after the break.
Cheers,
Angelo D'Alessandro
